With my epidural I was told I would feel pressure but it wouldn't hurt and that was very true. I had an hour long peaking contraction when I was in labor with my daughter Rayne, I am so thankful for the epidural! I only felt the pressure in my stomach but it wasn't painful until it started to wear off. It has some nasty side effects after delivery like random muscle jolts and sharp headache like pains that the drs wont tell you about ahead of time, probably so youre not afraid to get it, but it is so worth it. It was awesome!
