His knowledge of the islands and his navigation on the water made this The weather was beautiful and there were and hardly any boats in the water. Superior service! Guys were very helpful and super accommodating. Cart was clean and in good condition - made the trip a blast!
We are renting a house in Captiva not far after entering Captiva from Sanibel. Can anyone direct me to the rules about renting a golf cart to get around Captiva and Sanibel? We will have a toddler and one older person with bad knees with us and thought renting a golf cart may be helpful to get them around. But, I really would appreciate hearing from those who know whether the golf cart would be useful and, again, the rules about using one in Captiva. Thank you. Boomer - it is my understanding that golf carts are only allowed in the Village of Captiva. Meaning you can't drive them down San-Cap road to and from Sanibel or Santiva.
South Seas Island Resort is perfectly located on a 2. Because one of the many charms of our resort village is that the best way to get around is by golf cart! Bicycle rentals are also available, and are a great way to explore the island at your own perfectly relaxed pace. Please Note: Gas Carts only, no electrical outlets for any golf cart. For the true island experience, put your keys in your suitcase and yourself behind the wheel of a golf cart. Four or 6 passenger golf carts available for rent by the day or the week.
We are a family of four 11 and 12 year old children , and was wondering if anyone has rented a golf cart for the week while they have been vacationing at SSR, and how much it would cost? Thank you very much for your input! I just returned last night from a four night stay at SSR with my 21 year old daughter. We saw many, many families with golf carts and should I return with my family of 5, we would definately rent a golf cart. It would make getting around the resort easier and eliminate the need to wait for the trolley. We rode the trolley most of the time and never had a problem.
Does anyone know if all the resort amenities like the kids programs and pool access and clubs are available if you rent from a private owner and who would you pay for the services and where would you get the special key for access that the website speaks of? You can access the resort amenities, if you rent privately - but it will cost a lot. I hope someone else who has rented recently will come along to correct this if it is wrong.
