My family will be visiting the Phoenix area in mid-August and I'm looking for recommendations for a nice resort with a water park-like atmosphere for my two kids 11 and I currently have reservations at the AZ Grand Resort for two days, but I've been reading a lot of bad reviews on TripAdvisor with regards to old rooms, unattentive staff, warm fridges, etc. I've read similar bad reviews for Pointe Hilton at Squaw Peak. Can anyone recommend a resort which has a very nice property, relatively large new rooms, great service, and some water park-like features nice pools, etc , and possibly close to shopping? I want our vacation stay to be outstanding for myself and my wife, as well as my two kids.
